A Modern Barn Wedding | Candies Creek Farm, Georgetown TN

I get excited about all weddings, but Arika and Ryan’s wedding was unique in that they were the very first couple to get married in the beautiful Candies Creek Wedding Venue located in Georgetown, TN—just thirty minutes outside of Chattanooga. Not only did I know these two would have a fun, exciting wedding, but getting to shoot at a brand new venue is always an awesome experience! 

Candies Creek is a Modern Barn with gorgeous beams, white walls and ceilings, an incredible outdoor space, and two completely separate locations for the bride and groom to get ready. With tons of acres, a pond, and a pavilion, there are tons of spots for gorgeous pictures (and the owners are absolutely AMAZING! Kaitlyn and Joe brought out ducks, set off fireworks, literally did it all!)

Even if this couple had chosen a different venue, though, their wedding would still be memorable! There are wedding parties—friends and loved ones you ask to partake in your big day, and then there are wedding PARTIES. The friends who make every moment and every picture fun, exciting, and unexpected. Ryan and Arika had an INCREDIBLE crew of people who made every second of their day one to remember—from a champagne exit that turned into a champagne war, a first look with the groomsmen that will make you scream, to dunking the groom in the lake—Arika and Ryan will have a day that I will always remember and absolutely ADORE the pictures for years to come.
