Hazel House Studio was created to be more than just a rental space. It’s a welcoming, thoughtfully designed studio built with photographers and clients in mind — filled with natural light, versatile styling options, and an atmosphere that inspires creativity. Whether you’re capturing milestone moments, hosting a branding session, or creating simply for the joy of it, my hope is that Hazel House becomes a place where creativity feels effortless and community feels close to home.
the owner of Hazel House Studio and a full-time wedding and portrait photographer based in Cleveland. After years of photographing couples, families, seniors, and creative projects throughout Southeast Tennessee, I realized there was a growing need for a professional studio space closer to home.
For so long, local photographers and creatives in the Cleveland area have had to travel nearly 45 minutes to Chattanooga to access a quality studio environment. I wanted to create a space that was both beautiful and accessible — somewhere local creatives, business
I am a wife, a dog mom, a crime show junkie, baseball lover, and third wheel extraordinaire. I am based in Cleveland, TN--the best city tucked neatly between beautiful Chattanooga and the Ocoee River. My passions are books, Crumbl Cookies, and going to bed early. I love to travel + meet new people, especially if everyone is glammed up in wedding attire. I wake up every day blessed to have this job.

Hazel House Studio is a bright, modern 1,200 sq. ft. creative space designed to feel both clean and versatile. With tall ceilings, abundant natural light, and an all-white interior, the studio provides the perfect blank canvas for any type of session or creative project. The space includes a curated selection of furniture pieces and backdrop options, allowing photographers and creators to easily customize the studio to fit their vision.
The Space
The Facilities
Street parking is available in front and around studio. Downtown Cleveland is fairly small, so even if you have to park a few blocks away, you are always just short walk to the studio.
Restrooms and a dressing room are available in the studio.
Immediately across the street from the studio is a beautiful small park, perfect if you'd like to capture both indoor and outdoor photos in one session.
The Facilities
Welcome to Hazel House Studio! We’re so excited to have you create in our space. To keep the studio clean, comfortable, and ready for every guest, please review the policies below before booking.
Booking & Payment
- All reservations are made through our online booking system
- Full payment is required to confirm your reservation
- Bookings are first come, first served and are not held without payment
- Studio reservations require a minimum of one hour
Studio Timing
- Your reserved time includes everything needed for your session — setup, shooting time, breakdown, and cleanup
- Please plan accordingly so the studio is fully reset and vacated by the end of your reservation
Example:
A booking from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM includes unloading, setup, the session itself, cleanup, and load-out
- Arriving late does not extend your session time
- Additional time may be added only if the schedule allows
- Any overtime may be charged at the current hourly rate
Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Bookings are non-transferable
- Cancellations made more than 72 hours before your reservation may receive a partial refund or studio credit, depending on the circumstance
- Rescheduling requests made with at least 72 hours notice may be accommodated based on availability
- Reservations canceled within 72 hours of the booking time are non-refundable
Respecting the Space
- We ask every renter to leave Hazel House Studio in the same condition it was found
- Before leaving:
Return furniture, props, and styling pieces to their original placement
Remove all personal belongings, equipment, and trash
Wipe down any surfaces used for makeup, food, or styling
Dispose of small trash items in the bins provided
Take large items, boxes, or outside trash with you
- Please be mindful that another guest may be arriving immediately after your session
- Excessive mess, damage, or failure to reset the space may result in additional cleaning or repair fees
Studio Rules
- To protect the studio and ensure a great experience for all guests, the following are not permitted without prior written approval:
Glitter, confetti, feathers, sand, or loose materials
Smoke bombs, smoke machines, or open flames
Smoking or vaping inside the studio
Nails, screws, tacks, or adhesives on walls or furniture
Illegal, unsafe, or hazardous activities
- Food and drinks should be kept away from styled shooting areas whenever possible.
- Clean shoes only on studio backdrops
- Avoid dragging equipment or furniture across backdrop surfaces
- Do not cut seamless paper without approval
- Damage to paper backdrops or studio surfaces may result in replacement fees
Furniture & Equipment
- All renters are responsible for the care of studio furniture, props, equipment, and décor during their reservation
Please:
- Avoid standing on furniture unless specifically designed for it
- Do not lean heavy equipment against walls or windows
- Handle all studio pieces carefully
- Any damaged, stained, or missing items may be charged to the card on file.
Guests, Noise & Conduct
- The person booking the studio is responsible for all clients, guests, children, and team members during the reservation
- We ask that all guests:
Respect neighboring businesses and tenants
Keep noise at an appropriate level
Remain inside the studio unless otherwise approved
Enter and exit courteously if another session is occurring nearby
- Hazel House Studio reserves the right to end a session without refund if policies are violated
Pets
- Pets are allowed only with prior approval. Approved animals must be fully house-trained, non-aggressive, and cleaned up after immediately.
- Any pet-related damage or excessive cleaning will result in additional fees.
Liability
- Use of Hazel House Studio is at your own risk.
- Hazel House Studio is not responsible for injuries, accidents, theft, lost items, or damages that occur during your reservation. By booking the studio, you accept responsibility for yourself and everyone attending your session.
