Ellie Senior Portraits

Panama City, FL

“We are going to be in Panama City the week before we have Ellie’s senior session scheduled with you. What are the chances you’d be willing for us to bring you down to A30 for her pictures instead?” When I think of some of my favorite e-mails I’ve ever received, this will always been in the top 5. I have never said “YES” so quickly! And when I think about some of my favorite senior sessions I’ve ever shot, this one also tops the list! The best word I can use to describe this photoshoot is “iconic.” From locations to outfits to Ellie—all iconic. 

When I arrived in Panama, Ellie’s parents met me and we spent the morning drinking iced coffee while exploring the gorgeous spots around A30. Honestly, it felt more like exploring a new city with friends than work! Jason and Mandy are seriously the SWEETEST humans. They made me feel so welcome to their family trip, could not have taken care of me any better while I was there, and were so fun to spend the day with. 

Of course, the best part of the day was Ellie! This girl was PERFECT. From her outfit choices to her “up for anything” attitude, I knew these pictures would turn out gorgeous. It would have to be a girl as gorgeous as her to outshine the beautiful locations we chose for her photos. My favorite part was taking pictures of the beach. When I said Ellie was up for anything, I truly mean it. She danced, ran, swam—got full in ocean water. Not even the waves could stop her. She truly has that kind, infectious personality that makes you want a session to never stop. 

When I think about the photoshoots on my bucket list, an epic beach senior session has always been at the top. Thanks to this girl, I loved getting to cross this one off the list.
