One of my goals for this year is to go back to some of my favorite weddings from the past two years and finally post about them now that I am in my “blogging era”! I could not think of a better wedding to start with than Katie and Chris’ wedding at Ocoee Crest Wedding Venue. Located in the beautiful Tennessee Mountains, Ocoee Crest is the perfect half-way spot between Knoxville and Chattanooga, making it ideal for couples looking for an East Tennessee venue. What I love most about this venue is it is the perfect blend between chic country and modern, rustic and industrial. Whatever vibe you are hoping for on your wedding day, this venue provides.

Although I always love the opportunity to shoot at Ocoee Crest, what made this day perfect, though, was the couple. Chris and Katie are clients turned friends. I absolutely adore this couple. The two met in med school and are now a literal power couple, working together at their eye care practice. Their engagement session was one of the coldest I’ve ever shot, so it was not a surprise that their wedding included interesting weather, being one of the windiest! But you would never know from the pictures. The only two things apparent from this gallery are that these two people are well-loved, and Katie and Chris absolutely love each other.
