Reece Senior Session

What was supposed to be a sunny day for Reece’s senior session turned into a thunderstorm—as well as some of my all-time favorite pictures! Reece is another beautiful Caitlin D. Photography senior rep this year! She chose to have her senior portraits taken at the lake in Cleveland, TN. We were supposed to have a wake boarding cap and gown session with a few portraits on the dock beforehand. A few minutes before we were about the start, the weather took a massive change and it was clear it was about to pour. I told Reece we could reschedule for another day… or… she could embrace it. I think that’s way I love about this 2022 group: they are willing to step out of the box and do something completely different and unique. Reece was amazing! Especially since it was hard to shout poses over the rain. She fully embraced the weather, making for some of the most magical pictures I’ve ever taken! And of course, we came back a few days later to finish out her epic shoot on the water.
