Scarlett and Patrick’s love story began during their junior year at UTC. Scarlett, a cheerleader from Knoxville, and Patrick, a lifelong UTC Men’s Basketball fan from Chattanooga, crossed paths at the SoCon Conference Basketball Tournament in Asheville, NC. That night was magical as UTC’s team won and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, where their second date took place in Pittsburgh during March Madness. From that moment on, they were inseparable. Their engagement was a complete surprise to Scarlett, who thought they were just doing family photos at Patrick’s uncle’s house on the lake!
