Jackie + Logan Wedding at The Gray Dove

Jackie and Logan’s wedding was one I had been looking forward to all year, and not just because their wedding was at one of my favorite venues in East Tennessee–The Gray Dove in Ooltewah! I met Jackie at an open house the venue was hosting. As soon as she came to my booth, I knew we were meant for each other. She was beautiful, excited, SO KIND–I did a happy dance when I got an email from her!
A few months later, Jackie and Logan drove over two hours to have their engagement session. From start to finish, every moment was so fun. It makes a photographer’s heart sing when a couple is up for anything, and these two were down for it all! After, we went on a double date with my husband for Mexican food, and I felt like I was eating with close friends.
Finally their wedding day. Everything about ceremony and reception were perfection. The grandmother spent the year collecting antiques for their wedding and decorated the Gray Dove from top to bottom, every inch so creative and gorgeous! Jackie had a first look with her father and brothers that made everyone want to cry–and then Logan got a surprise first look which made us cry from laughing. The best part, though, was Logan seeing his bride for the first time down the aisle. The excitement and joy on his face seeing her for the first time in her dress…its those moments that make my job the best.
