Jay + Victoria Wedding at Patten Chapel and Mac Avenue

Jay and Victoria celebrated their perfect wedding at the gorgeous Patten Chapel on UTC’s college campus and held their reception at Mac Avenue, a newer venue right down the road with a perfect industrial vibe–all at the center of downtown Chattanooga, TN.
I met Victoria for her bridal consultation at Frothy Monkey and immediately fell in love with her! I knew she was one who would become more of a friend than a client, and I was absolutely right.
Jay planned the perfect proposal for Victoria, coordinating with Victoria’s best friend Danna during a “girl’s weekend” in Chattanooga. Little did Victoria know while out to brunch with her girlfriend, Jay was there ready to pop the question. Danna was ready with her camera to capture the moment at a beautiful floral archway outside of Kenny’s Restaurant.
Their wedding day was magical. Patten Chapel is the perfect spot for any ceremony. With it’s cathedral look, exposed brick, and sky-high ceiling, the church is beautiful without a single decoration. Opting for a first touch before the ceremony, seeing Jay’s face when Victoria walked down the aisle of the chapel made the entire day worth it.
Following the wedding, everyone drove two minutes down the road the Mac Avenue, a hip reception hall with exposed brick and rafters, large windows, and plenty of room to dance. Friends and family spent the evening loving the couple, the couple spent the evening loving each other, and I spent the evening loving every moment of their love story.
